LPS 200 MC with heating system
The Air Jet Precision Sieve is suited for dry grain size analysis from 0.020 mm up to 2 mm.
The gas flow rate is measured and regulated to a constant value which has been adjusted before. The justification of the jet´s rotation speed allows the adjustment to different materials and decreases the sieving time. A special designed sealing of the sieving inserts allows the use of standard inlets with a diameter of 200 mm. The sealings of the aggregate and the cover made out of plastics avoid the intrusion of air from outside the sieve. To avoid electrostatic charging the used air may be conditioned or warmed.
All relevant data such as number of sieving test, sieving time, gas flow rate, gas flow speed, jet rotation speed, temperature and humidity are recorded. This is essential to fulfill the requirements of DIN ISO 9000.
An outstanding type of air jet sieving is the fast air jet sieving with a special designed aggregate for 4 standard sieving inlets with a diameter of 76 mm, a four-arm jet and higher jet rotation speed. Analysing time is reduced up to 40 times in comparison to conventional air jet sieving analysis.
In one step four representative samples are analyzed. So in combination with the RHEWUM-PC-Analyzing-Software you get the complete grain size distribution.
