Powerful electromagnets ensure clean separations at 100 µm to 2 mmShow me more
Material recycling refers to the process by which products (waste) that are no longer needed become a secondary raw material. Since recycling refers to any recovery process by which waste materials are reprocessed into products, materials or substances either for the original purpose or for other purposes in recycling plants, this is a very broad field with very different requirements for separation technology.
Screening machines are part of the standard equipment in most recycling plants. Whether for waste wood and compost, or for slag from waste incineration, only with the help of suitable screening machines can various waste materials be optimally processed. RHEWUM screening machines are characterized by their particular robustness as well as increased energy efficiency with consistently high performance and low maintenance requirements. This not only saves costs, but also makes your own operation even more efficient.
RHEWUM's reliable screening technology is the best solution for a manufacturer of wood flooring to increase efficiency. This is because the cuttings and sawdust produced during production are an optimal task to combine RHEWUM's screening mesh types RHEsono® and RHEmoto®. Driven by an unbalanced motor, the RHEmoto® principle is best suited for medium cut-offs, such as the 10.0 mm cut-off used here. The small drives have the power to transmit sufficient vibrations to the thicker wire diameter of such a net. The fines below 0.4 mm were processed with the RHEsono® electromagnetic drives developed by RHEWUM itself. By means of a high-frequency beater bar movement, the screenings are thrown off the screen mesh at right angles - the inclination of the mesh enables the screenings to be transported over the screen. Robust electromagnets operate outside the screen housing, transmitting the vibrations to the screen cloth via oscillating axes. The electromagnets achieve accelerations of 15 g and more on the screen cloth. By means of the beater bar movement, the RHEWUM screen cloth is excited to high-frequency vibrations. In the designed screening machine, the total width of the screens was 2.2 meters, and the length was 6.0 meters. They process on two decks per screen a conveying capacity of 3 - 6 tons per hour for the mentioned separating cuts of 10.0 millimeters and 0.4 millimeters. With a comparatively low bulk material of 0.23 kilograms per liter, this results in a total volume of more than 10 - 20 cubic meters per hour and per screen.
Especially for applications with difficult-to-screen material, RHEWUM developed a brush cleaning system that supports the screening process. It is a round brush that can only be used with static machine bodies. It is another addition to the cleaning cycle that protects the screen surface from clogging and thus also maintains efficiency. The brush automatically moves and rotates along the screen surface in programmable cycles. When not needed, it automatically folds up to avoid blocking the valuable screen surface. Besides increasing efficiency, this additional feature reduces the man-hours required for manual cleaning as well as the life expectancy of the machine.
