RHEWUM takes part in the seminar of the Sugar Technologists' Association of India (STAI)

15.02.2019, Dehradun, India

N.N., RHEWUM GmbH

On 14 February 2019, a full-day seminar on the topic "The recent advances in sugar drying, sifting and packaging" was held in Dehradun, India. RHEWUM GmbH & its subsidiary RHEWUM India Pvt. Ltd. gave presentations on technologies for sifting sugar and were able to demonstrate the technology directly on site with a mobile RHEsono® sifting machine.

Sugar sifting plays an important role in determining sugar quality in relation to grain size and can lead to a better price on the market with uniform grain sizes. For bulk consumers, the dry mixing of sugar is energy efficient compared to the wet process. The constant sugar grain size is very important for the dry mixing process. Efficient sifting also optimizes product performance and seed recycling.

In times of constantly rising production costs and strict environmental and food safety standards, the optimization of sugar plants with clean and efficient processes is an important factor for remaining profitable. Choosing efficient processes/equipment is the key to increasing productivity, energy consumption, emissions and the production of quality products that suit consumer and market needs.

With the right sifting technology, these requirements can be achieved, for example with our RHEsono®, RHEsonox® or RHEflex® screening machine.
