The DF industrial screener is a high performance-screening machine for medium and coarse separation range
The drive principle of the DF industrial screeners is based on the use of two out-of-balance motors running at different speeds. The motor with the lower speed and higher out of balance weight is positioned at the inlet, whereas the motor with the higher speed and lower out of balance weight is positioned at the outlet.
At the inlet, the higher amplitude accomplishes the loosening and mixing of the feed product. At the outlet, the high motor frequency along with higher acceleration ensures that critical materials are screened. By changing the direction of rotation, the transport speed of the product can be specifically influenced. Due to this driving principle almost, no vibrations will be carried into the surrounding structure.
A static machine case encloses the vibrating screening unit and enables the addition of fixed flange connections leading to a dust-tight screening process (FDA, ATEX).
The easy machine accessibility and the maintenance free drive motors minimize the service costs and shut-down periods. The out of balance drives positioned outside the screening aggregate allow you to operate at high product temperatures (max. 450° C / 842° F).
The vibrating screening unit is encapsulated by a static housing allowing rigid connection of feed and exit chutes.
Standard industrial screener sizes are in the range of 2,4 m² to 26,4 m² (25,8 ft² to 284 ft²) per screen deck with up to six screen decks per machine. Additional sizes and custom designs are available on demand. Electrical power consumption of these machine sizes is usually within 2.5 kW and 19.0 kW (3.4 hp and 25.8 hp) (!).
