The specialists for high-performance industrial screening machines are investing in the future with the extension of production facilities and supplementary office buildings. Beginning of the building operations is scheduled for the second quarter of 2008; completion is expected for the end of 2008.

Desde hace más de 60 años. RHEWUM y es aprox. 100 empleados han estado desarrollando y fabricando máquinas de cribado para una variedad de aplicaciones de empresas industriales líderes en todo el mundo en su sede de Remscheid/Área del Ruhr, Alemania. Mientras tanto RHEWUM está representada en más de 20 países por agencias especializadas que asesoran a sus clientes in situ. Tradicionalmente, todas las máquinas de cribado se fabrican en nuestras propias instalaciones en Remscheid.

With this extension project the company wants to face the tasks of the future already today, says Sigurd Schuetz, managing director of RHEWUM GmbH. The new production hall and therefore the extension of production capacities will help to increase fabrication efficiency and thus to safeguard jobs at RHEWUM. The supplementary office building will reduce workflow and therefore also communication paths. This way the company hopes for a further improvement of internal production processes. Last but not least this will also enhance customer orientation.

However, when considering these future-oriented measures, the company should not lose sight of one of the main problems - to cover the need for qualified industrial staff as well as for trainees, says Sigurd Schuetz.
