In the event of a defect in a machine, action must be taken quickly. There is accordingly no risk of consequential damage or even a breakdown. The customer can as well put his production back into operation quickly.
At one of our customers in Finland we were able to quickly restore the accustomed quality and performance of the system with our 24/7 spare parts service. He already uses various RHEWUM WA and RHEWUM DF machines for screening NPK and other mixed fertilizers. These can screen up to 350 TPH at 4, 3 and 2mm cuts. The WA machines are mainly used after granulation to ensure that the mesh stays free thanks to electromagnets.
Due to an unusual defect, several drive units were damaged during operation and could therefore no longer be used in the long term. Without this full functionality of the drive units, the customer was facing a potential reduction of product quality. We have made his concern our top priority, so that he can continue his production with the usual feed rates and quality. Therefore we made it possible to manufacture 10 new drive units within 3 days. The question of warranty was put on hold in order to be able to offer a quick and efficient solution.
In addition to the deployment of a fitter and the express delivery of the drive units and other spare parts over the weekend, a repair could already be carried out on Monday morning. All drive units were replaced and the machine could be put back into full operation on Wednesday.
Thanks to the 24/7 spare parts service and the prompt reaction, we were able to offer the customer the perfect solution and to leave a lasting impression.
