RHEWUM manufactures screening machines for ultrapure polycrystalline silica

01.09.2010, Taiwan

The centrotherm photovoltaics AG planned a new polysilica plant in Taiwan. In the beginning, the production capacity of the plant will be 5000 tpy.

The delivery of the screening machines occured in June 2009, the commissioning of the whole plant is foreseen for the end of this year.

The machines are specially designed screens of the type RHEflex® that are especially developed, constructed and manufactured for this application and the high product requirements. The crushed silica are classified from fine to coarse on a 5 m long conveying and separating line before they are processed further. Key to the successful completion of this order was the close cooperation between the sales, development and design departments with the customer itself, as well as with centrotherm SiTec GmbH as the process developer.

About centrotherm SiTec: Centrotherm SiTec is a 100 % subsidiary of the centrotherm photovoltaics AG.
