Our high-performance screening machine RHEfino starts a long journey with the destination New Orleans. More precisely, it is going to Gramercy, almost 8,000 km away, where our customer Louisiana Sugar Refining, LLC (LSR) is already eagerly awaiting commissioning at America's leading white sugar refinery.

The company proudly operates the most technologically innovative white sugar refinery in the country, relying on cutting-edge technology for smooth and efficient production processes to meet the nationwide demand for high-quality white sugar products in both retail and commercial markets. 

The strategic partner and guarantor for reliable operation is RHEWUM. The high-precision screening machine Rhefino is used to screen even challenging and sticky material with high separation efficiency and to avoid clogging of the screen mesh.
Another challenge in sugar processing is also the risk of explosion due to high dust formation and the high quality and hygiene requirements in the food sector. 

RHEWUM works strictly according to ATEX guidelines. Therefore, the RHEfino for LSR is also delivered with pressure- and dust-tight housing as well as connection to a dedusting system, ATEX-compliant on customer request.
