RHEWUM switches out bottled water for carafes and water coolers

Water is good for us! Adults are recommended to drink at least 1.5 liters of pure water every day, which equals around two medium sized glass bottles of mineral water. We drink lots of bottled water in Germany! And over a month, this adds up to a lot of empty glass bottles waiting to be collected, cleaned, refilled and transported.

RHEWUM has simplified this business: With water carafes and free water coolers. The carafes are made of glass and can hold approximately the same volume as one bottle of mineral water. They are filled at water coolers, which provide a choice of cool, room temperature or carbonated water. This way, RHEWUM contributes to reducing waste, to less glass bottles piling up for collection in the employees' tea kitchen, and to a healthier environment.
