There is something new under the sun!

RHEWUM's sustainability expert Dr. RHE is pleased to present the new photovoltaic system:

"We have transformed parts of our factory building roofs into a photovoltaic paradise. On about 3800 sqm of roof area, we were able to make good use of almost 2000 sqm of the area with 1068 solar modules. This means that in future, RHEWUM will be able to feed up to 70 % of its energy needs exclusively from environmentally friendly self-produced solar power. The current data can be viewed in Dr. RHE's laboratory. Our high-quality, all-glass solar modules are bifacial, which means they can even collect energy on both sides. The inverters used, with a total of 400 kW, are Made in Germany, as is the specialist company that carried them out."

This does not only please Dr. RHE but also the environment AND of course our accounting department, which now has to pay much fewer electricity costs. Sometimes thinking ahead is more effective than thinking in hindsight. RHEWUM is proud and thanks all internal and external employees for this achievement!
